Football ground at Hal Tarxien is completed

After a lot of hard work, the football ground at the Augustinian Oratory, Dun Gwann Mamo (Hal Tarxien), is now officially opened. On Monday, 31st March, an Open Day was organised between 9am and 3pm, where a lot of activities were taking place including car wash, football tournament, penalty shoot-outs and other games. At 12.30pm, the blessing of the football ground took place by Fr. Hiliary Tagliaferro OSA, ex-director of the oratory. The celebrations ended with a prize-giving ceremony of the tournament winners, where a medal was given also to every participant, to mark the occasion.
