To give oneself to God ...

“How pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!" This is how Br. Luke Attard Bason OSA and Br. Terence Spiteri OSA will continue to live, on 14th September 2008, when they do their simple profession. Throughout this past novitiate year, Br. Luke and Br. Terence were preparing themselves and learning about all that pertains to the Augustinian Order, our spiritual father St. Augustine and those who were inspired by him, as well as other general subjects. Hence, after this important year, Br. Luke and Br. Terence will promise God and in front of the people of God, that they are going to remain poor, chaste and obedient. The ceremony which is going to take place on 14th September 2008, in St. Mark’s Church, Rabat (Malta), commences at 6.30pm.

Meanwhile, Br. Deo Debono OSA will renew his vows for the second time on Thursday 28th August 2008 at St. Manuel and St. Benido’s Parish in Madrid, Spain. Br. Stephen Camilleri OSA will renew his vows for the first time in a private ceremony on Tuesday 26th August 2008.

The Augustinian Province of Malta is grateful for these important steps, undergone by these four students and while it continues to pray for them, it encourages them, to be prophetical witnesses in the Church today, like any other Augustinian.
