The Inauguration of the College Scholastic Year and that of the Augustinian Institute

On 19th September, the Augustinian Province held two activities, both of which have to do with its commitment to education and culture. The President of Malta, Dr. E. Fenech Adami and Mrs. Fenech Adami attended the opening of the public course on St. Augustine. This was held at the Augustinian Institute at 6pm. Mons. Charles Cordina celebrated Mass. As in previous years, a good number of people enrolled for the course, which is going to link the Pauline year with the development of the course theme.

Some time later, at 7.15pm, in St. Sebastian’s Church, Hal Qormi, a celebration for the launching of the new scholastic year of St. Augustine’s College, took place. At the end of mass, the rector, Fr. Alan Scerri OSA encouraged all those who were present, including children, parents, teachers and staff members, to continue making St. Augustine’s College a place of excellent civic and religious formation.
